Departure Information - please read carefully

Dear brothers and sisters,

Even though our departure on Saturday, 20 September is still a little while away, I would like to share the most important information with you already. Since I myself will leave on Sunday, 14 September, we will also circulate the list for the last meal you will take here at the Generalate already this Friday afternoon (12 September), so that the kitchen can plan accordingly. Please make sure to make your cross in the correct column.

1. Transport planning Please start thinking now about your travel to the airport:

  • At what time do you need to be there?

  • Which transport option(s) will you use (metro, shuttle bus, train, …)?

  • When should you leave the house? It may be helpful to buy your bus or train tickets in advance, and to join with others who leave around the same time so you can travel in groups.

2. Clearing the rooms (by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, 20 September)

  • Strip your bed and bring sheets and towels downstairs.

  • Dispose of the rubbish in the big bins in the cloister (separated into paper, plastic, and general waste).

  • Leave the bathroom clean and use a broom in the sleeping room.

  • Take all personal belongings with you.

  • Leave the room key in the door from the outside.

3. Meals There will be no possibility to get a picnic from the kitchen this year. Please arrange your own food for the journey.

4. Luggage If you want to leave your luggage for a few hours after check-out, you can place it in the visitors’ room next to the entrance hall.

5. Help with cleaning If you have time on Saturday morning, you are very welcome to come to volunteer to help with cleaning the rooms. (Please let me know if that is the case)

If you have any questions or uncertainties, please come and see me by Saturday evening (13 September). From Sunday onwards, you can turn to P. Gregorio.

Thank you for your cooperation!
